Create a Get Fluent account and add a new level
If Get Fluent is included in your course, we’ll automatically create an account for you, link you account with the course you booked with your language school, and send you an email with your login details.
Schools that currently offer Get Fluent included in their course:
- Alliance Française de Sydney
- French à la Carte (Sydney)
If Get Fluent is offered as optional in your language school, you can purchase a Get Fluent level when or after you’ve enrolled for a French course, on your school’s website or at reception. If you purchase Get Fluent at the same time as your course, you’ll be able to add it to your cart on the same purchase page. If you have already bought your course online, you can purchase a Get Fluent level matching your course by calling your school directly or online by clicking on the link below for your school. Once you have proceeded to the payment, you will receive a confirmation email from us with the username and password of your Get Fluent account.

Set up Get Fluent on your phone or tablet
1. Log in
To login, go to www.getfluentfrench.com/student and enter the username and password that have been emailed to you. If you haven’t received your login information, check in your Spam folder, it might have ended up there. Otherwise, contact us at contact@getfluentfrench.com.
2. Select your new level
Depending on which school you are attending and what level you have purchased (course or revision), we might have added your new level automatically. If we haven’t, you’ll need to Select your new level.
To do so, click on the + Nouvelle classe button on the homepage if it is available (it won’t show if you’re currently enrolled in a class), otherwise go to the Mon Compte page (top right hand corner icon of the homepage). You’ll find the + Nouvelle classe button at the bottom of the page. Select the level you want to add. If you have purchased several levels, repeat this procedure for each level.
If there is no + Nouvelle classe button on this page, it’s because we’ve already added your new level, and it will appear on the list. In that case, you don’t need to do anything.
3. Add the Get Fluent icon to your homepage
To avoid having to type the Get Fluent link on your browser every time you want to practise French, you can add the Get Fluent icon to your homepage.
Go to our website, tap on the Options or Menu icon of your browser (it’s the middle icon at the bottom on the screen for iPhones, and the top right icon for Android phones), and tap on the Add to Homescreen option. Et voilà!
Note: If you’re using Get Fluent on Chrome in an iPhone, it won’t be possible to create an icon, unfortunately.
Having trouble using the app?
Use Get Fluent
We have built Get Fluent to be very easy to use and intuitive, so you shouldn’t have too much trouble navigating through the app.
1. Answer a question
The entire app is in French, for an optimal learning. It’s been designed to be very simple to use: the instructions are on top of the cards, the question is under the instructions, and the answer (multiple choices or type-in box) are at the bottom. Enter your answer, and you’ll immediately see a happy frog or a sad frog, depending on whether your answer is correct or not. You can then choose to try to answer again, or see the answer.
2. Skip a card
If you don’t want to answer a card, or if it doesn’t work when you enter the right answer, you can always choose to skip the card. Tap or click on the Options icon on the top right hand corner of the card (the little circle with 3 vertical dots), and select « Passer cette carte » from the menu to go to the next question.
3. Manage audio
Get Fluent is full of audio exercises, for you to be able to practise your comprehension as much as possible outside of class.
If you cannot or don’t want to have audio exercises for a session, you can disable audio by clicking on the sound icon on the top right hand icon of the Welcome screen. You can also disable audio in the middle of a session by selecting Désactiver audio on the Options menu of any flashcard.
